WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DISH ON THE MENU?
I eat everything. Anything with bacon. Cheesesteak is great. I gotta say everything on the truck is great.
WHAT IS THE STORY BEHIND YOUR BUSINESS' NAME?
We came up with California Crazy Chef’s Catering, [our parent company]. We thought it was catchy with the three C’s.
WHERE DID YOU LEARN TO COOK?
My mom was a cook and so just watching her and friends and everything.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO START YOUR BUSINESS?
I was on vacation and saw a friend who was a chef at a country club. I said, “Hey, we can do this.” Went to a couple of food events. No one was selling kobe sliders.
WHO ENCOURAGED YOU THE MOST TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS?
Midlife crisis, I guess.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE EVENT THAT YOU'VE CATERED FOR?
A disabilities fair at Mt. SAC. Lots of these people don’t go to trucks because they feel self-conscious. I leave with a good feeling about making their day.

About Slammin Sliders
Slammin’ Sliders is rollin’ through the Los Angeles, CA area making upscale eats available on wheels. One of the many successful ventures from California Crazy Chef’s Catering Company, this food truck’s name is no case of hyperbole gone awry. These sliders are indeed slammin’. Here, the simple is made gourmet. You can chow down on some decadent takes on the beloved pub food classic that is the slider.
The eclectic menu sports a Kobe-Wagyu beef slider, a Niman Ranch pork slider, a chipotle chicken slider, a shrimp po’ boy slider, and a pink pepper-crusted lobster slider. So, these aren’t your average burger or chicken patties dished up on tiny buns. Just to keep things interesting, there are also Black Angus beef renditions of a Philly cheesesteak and a bulgogi sandwich. ”Slammin’ sides” include options like a sweet potato and pepper-jack croquette and an Okinawan-style potato salad. There’s even Caffe D’Amore coffee to wash it down. Sound delicious? Book Slammin’ Sliders for your next event. Guests will love snacking on these tiny, tasty sandwiches.
MUST TRY
West Coast “Philly Steak” Sandwich - Swap out the traditional steak with some Black Angus beef for a full-flavored slider with all that tangy Philadelphia flare. Yum.
