Mark moved from Florida to Sparta, TN in 2012. While he fell in love fast with his new community, he found one thing sorely lacking in the culinary scene – seafood whipped up in the style of the Sunshine State. He figured, why wallow when he could fill the gap in the market himself? With that, Mark’s Specialty Seafood was born. Now, you can catch Mark rolling through the city in this trailer bringing residents of Tennessee some oceanic eats made with distinct Southern flavor.
Start you meal off with some deep-fried clam strips or a plate of calamari coated in a peppery breading and lightly salted. Then, grab any number of mouth-watering entrees. Go for a salmon burger made from fresh Alaskan salmon. Try some catfish fingers complete with a well-seasoned cornmeal breading. And no Florida-style seafood would be complete without a side of hushpuppies. Enticed? Of course you are, so get out there and find Mark’s Specialty Seafood rolling through the streets. Or, bring ‘em straight to you by booking ‘em for your next event. All these fresh-off-the-line deep-fried goodies are bound to please attendees.
MUST TRY
Crunchy Grouper Reuben — A beer-battered filet of flaky grouper fish topped off with Swiss cheese, Thousand Island Dressing, and coleslaw squashed between two bakery fresh slices of rye bread.
