After a quest for the best possible pizza led them to a wood fired oven in Oahu, the dough wizards behind Flame and Pie decided to pop that oven on a trailer and serve some wood fired goodness in their hometown of Hampton, Virginia. Find them feeding the pizza-less at breweries, festivals, farmer’s markets, and more.
Most of the ‘zas are changing daily at Flame and Pie, but there are a few you can generally get your hands on most days. Their pepperoni—small, greasy, and curled—is always a hit, as is the classic Margherita, with red sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil. Feel like mixing it up? The Mediterranean pie, loaded with olive oil, mozzarella, spinach, tomatoes, red onions, Kalamata olives, feta, and a balsamic glaze drizzle finish, will do you just right.
