Mikey Libertella and Claude Babineau were the best of pals for 10 years when an idea struck them — their very own food truck. And what better combination than homemade Italian food and hand-scooped ice cream, two delectable comfort foods served at a single location? With the assistance of Babineau’s girlfriend, Melissa Drake, the pair got all the paperwork together to make their dream a reality. Now, you’ll find these BFFs rollin’ across Fort Myers, FL dishing up some feel-good eats. 

This truck is the real deal, basically a sit-down restaurant on wheels. Uncle Mikey’s has a 32-foot self-contained kitchen with two full-sized fridges, a 4-burner stove, and a 50-inch ice cream freezer. All this equipment allows them to whip up quite the menu for guests. You’ll find a whole range of burgers and sandwiches served on toasty, bakery fresh hoagie rolls. You can sample some classic deep-fried decadence with sides like french fries, fried ravioli, and mozzarella sticks. As for ice cream, these rich, creamy concoctions come in over 10 different flavors with everything from mint chocolate chip to salted caramel pretzel. Getting hungry? Swing on by and chow down.
